- The meat of progression in the CJ is completing the weekly missions that are posted in the NUS. Each completed mission acts as a tally towards promotion to the next rank.
- The progression is as follows:
Padawan
I-III
Knight
III-X
Master
X-XX
Grand Master
XX-XXX - Padawan: When someone wants to join, they will be directed to register here and fill out an admission form. The initiate will then be assigned a master to guide and help them through to knighthood and bestowed the title of Padawan. The Padawan will complete the regular weekly missions like everyone else until they have completed three. Then, after suggesting a mission idea here, in the Training Hall, they will be promoted to Knight. Padawans may not vote in council elections.
- Knight: After seven missions, a knight may be promoted to Master after suggesting another mission as well as providing feedback on the CJ overall in the Suggestion Box, in the Amphitheater.
- Master: Masters are granted access to the Council Chambers. They may put forth motions and participate, but may not vote. They should be active participants in the CJ. They are responsible for guiding Padawans. After ten missions, they will be charged with completing a project of their choosing, given council approval. There will be some the council may have in mind for you to do, such as improving this site, writing a CJ fanfic of some length, or extending the reach of the CJ on the JCF, but you are free to come up with your own ideas to present for approval. Upon completion of this project, a Master will be promoted to Grand Master.
- Grand Master: All Grand Masters will be given a council seat (equal to one vote on the council) and moderator position here. They should be thinking about how to push the Crimson Jedi as an organization, in whatever area they think best.
- Councilor (and High Councilor): The council will be made up of Grand Masters and above and an elected High Council, or Triumverate. The council will function as a unit for all intents and purposes, but a unanimous vote (in which all three members vote) by the High Council will pass any measure. Elections will be held at least every four months, or when an election is called by a majority of all active Crimson Jedi, excluding Padawans. The council is in charge of posting the weekly missions, roster updates, and site and organization upkeep, as well as monitoring the NUS (at least for new recruits and recording mission completions). The task of posting the weekly mission may be delegated to any Crimson Jedi Master or above, for one week or more, provided council and CJ member (in question) approval. Aka- if someone wants to do it and the council says ok, that is fine.
There will most likely be more ranks added and more specific roles in the future, but for now this is what it looks like.
